Program Overview
Rutgers is pleased to introduce a Caregiver Support Program through Care.com, providing employees access to a vast network of caregivers for children and adults, along with the option to use their own personal caregiver for unexpected care needs.
The program provides subsidized care for children and adults when your regular care is not available. Employees may select In-home or In Center back up care from Care.com’s network of vetted providers or to utilize a resource of their own (friend, family member) and still take advantage of the subsidized back up care benefits.
Upon enrollment, you will have access to a robust online community where you can find support for both ongoing and one time family care needs for children, adults, pets, tutoring, distance learning, housekeeping and much more. Please note the subsidy is for back up child and adult care only.
How to Enroll
Sign up for a Care.com account visit Rutgers.care.com or contact them at 855-781-1303. Please be sure to sign up using your NETID@rutgers.edu email address. Please note, you will also need your full Employee ID number, which can be found on the myRutgers portal or on your paystubs. Already enrolled in Care.com? Contact them at 855.781.1303 to merge your accounts and enjoy premium free months during the duration of our program.
Care Talks
The program also offers our employees free access to monthly Care Talks. These are live hosted, interactive events that will occur every month throughout the year.
