Exception Request Process

All requests for exception to the position cost controls must first receive endorsement from the respective chancellor or senior leadership team member. Requests that require UHR approval will be submitted by the chancellor, SLT member, or designee directly through OneSource. UHR is developing a streamlined online process for exception requests submissions. University Procurement Services is creating a process to monitor temporary staffing and independent contractors. These processes will be communicated in the coming week.

Questions related to the hiring freeze and other suspended personnel transactions should be directed to OneSource Rutgers Faculty and Staff Service Center at 732-745-SERV (7378) or at OneSource@rutgers.edu.

Thank you for your continued support during this difficult time.

Sincerely,
