I am pleased to announce several new services available via the HR and Payroll Support Portal designed to facilitate requests for assistance and guidance from University Human Resources (UHR). Services now available include:
- Acting Appointment Inquiry
- Background Check Assistance
- I-9 Assistance
- Job Description/CARF Assistance
- Layoff Assistance Request
- New Hire Onboarding Assistance
- Non-Aligned Employee Discipline Inquiry
- Reclassification Inquiry
- Reorganization Planning Assistance
- ROCS Assistance
- Salary In-Range/Grade Inquiry or URA Self-Initiated Request
- UHR Policy Assistance
Please note that all personnel transactions that are currently submitted through ROCS will remain in that system. The above-listed services are only intended for general inquiries, guidance, and requests for service currently submitted via email. The roll out of these new services will:
- Centralize Communications: Rather than utilizing multiple individual and general email inboxes, the portal will serve as a centralized hub for communicating with HR team members. Many centralized UHR email addresses will be decommissioned for incoming mail.
- Expedite Case Resolution: The portal will enable UHR to reassign cases as necessary to better meet demand and advance case resolution.
- Improve Tracking: These services will make it easier to submit, track, and monitor the status, progress, and resolution of your HR-related inquiries.
